What benefits do SafeBlood members get on the analysis?

Once a SafeBlood member receives the results of the C19VRA (by email), Created for Health will inform us of the result. If you don’t want this, simply leave the safeblood member number empty when ordering the C19VRA.

The result is then displayed with a 💚 next to or instead of your verification symbol (✅). And next to the 💚 the date of the analysis is displayed as well. This will then eg. look like this: ✅💚 2025-03-25 right next to the donors name, and for unverified donors there will be only the name.

These symbols are only displayed in your member area and communicated to other members only in case of a donor referral, when we give your contact details to the receiver, who is then able to see whether and when you have been verified or have made the C19VRA.

Since we usually give the member who requests a donor between one and five contact details (of the geographically closest matches), he can then see who is verified and who not. I assume most members will prefer a donor with a 💚, especially since in the beginning only few members will have made the C19VRA.

The main benefit is therefore not for you as a donor, but for the receiver of a blood donation. It is also possible that a receiver wants to have your blood analyzed before receiving the transfusion. In this case of course the receiver will have to pay the C19VRA.
